We don't go the same school
anymore but Sydney and I are still
good friends. Here we are hamming
it up one evening when Sydney and
her sister came over to play.
With Christmas fast approaching, it was time for us kids to
get everyone in the holiday spirit--that's right another off-key
sing-a-long. I was in the front row because I love to sing.
After the show, we went back to my classroom for some
cookies and milk. Here I am with my teacher, Miss Hitchcock.
She's really nice to me and I love being in her classroom.
One of my best new friends at school is Melody. Here I am at
her birthday party at Palace Park--that's me in the middle
screaming my head off. A great way to start Christmas break.
Here's Melody driving an M&M go-cart (hey, the same as her
initials) at the party. I had a hard time driving the car myself
but I got the hang of it after a few laps around the track.
Finally, Christmas Eve had arrived and it was time to get some
snacks out for Santa. This year, it was a delightful selection of
sugar cookies, carrots and milk. Santa and Rudolph loved it.
Christmas morning arrived and I had a very
special surprise--a hamster that came straight
from the North Pole. I named her Cutie.
Here we are at another annual tradition--the Disney on Ice
show at The Pond. Here are the Kahrs getting ready for one
of the best shows ever--this year it was the story of Nemo.
Once school is out, the afro wigs seem to appear almost
simultaneously. Here I am being silly with my good friend,
Hayley while she was visiting for another sleepover.
Mom & Dad are all about fun holiday traditions--one of which
is now the annual Irvine Regional Park Christmas Train
(thanks a lot, Bigs). "Hi Santa, I'd like 100 million dollars".
The annual Christmas bash was held a little late this year
because the hosting Kahrs were all sick this year. As usual, I
cleaned up on presents, as did the rest of us rug rats.
Nothing says Christmas like a Sunday of dim sum in Little
Saigon. Here I am with Quinlan--that kid really cracks up.
He has such a squeaky little voice and he likes playing with me.
January also brings in my cousin Quinlan's birthday. Here he
is getting a little help from Anhthy to ensure he doesn't fall off
the table and bleed to death (the dude's a tad accident prone).
Hey, speaking of cartwheels, here's an old Wells Fargo
stagecoach with four of them. We saw this cool old stagecoach
in Old Town San Diego--where the city first got started.
My latest specialty is the good old cartwheel. If I spot even 10
square inches of grass, I seize the moment to show off my cart
wheeling skills. Dad says I'm getting pretty good.
After Old Town, it was on to the Chargers game. Here we are
having a blast with Dad. 30 minutes later, Bigs blew his mind
yelling LP! LP!, Brees got injured and we were out of there.
What a view! Here I am with Mom riding on the sky ride at
Sea World--despite Bigsy throwing a cotton candy tantrum, we
had a really nice time checking everything out that day.
On New Year's weekend, we headed down to San Diego for a
couple of days. Here is a lovely shot of a dolphin flying over a
rope at Sea World. Aren't dolphins just the coolest?
Seaworld is just a lot of fun for us kids. But
you have to be careful--sometimes you can
forget that there's a lot of water in that place.
It's been a long time coming...photoshoot time. Enjoy...
I think I'm just going to take a
little nap right here. Thanks for
stopping by and come back soon.
