Hi everyone, this is my good buddy Celine.  We're wearing
makeup and hair streeks--aren't we just the coolest chicks?
Here we are enjoying a lovely lunch on the back patio with Bigs
and our neighbor Tanner.  Celine & I loved our strawberries.
But that doesn't mean she can't act silly sometimes.  Here we
are hamming it up for the old man at Baskin-Robbins.
Celine is my friend from school--she's super
smart and reads at like a 4th grader.  Yowza.
"Like, oh my god, did you just say birthday
cake--hey eating the stuff is my specialty!!"
Here I am at Gabe Taylor's first birthday playing with Ava
Kahr--for some reason I love trying to make her laugh.
Laguna is great for us kids--the surf is pretty mellow, there
aren't too many rocks and there's a candy shop nearby.
I decided to spruce this store-front up a bit with a little bit of
that promotional wizardry I inherited from day...GOTCHA!
Summer has been great so far--we've been
spending tons of time at our favorite beach.
Another weekend...another round of birthday
cake (and cotton candy).  Thanks, Hayley!!
With each kid announcing their bold plans for adulthood, I  got
the laughs with my pom-pommed plan to be a "cheerleader".
Each class gets to sing their own graduation
song.  I got to be one of the stars of ours.
Guess what--I'm now a Kindergarten grad.  Can you believe it?  
Here's my best bud, Sydney, right before the ceremony.
University Montessori doesn't mess around at these things--we
even had doves flying out over the crowd after the festivities.
Here's the entire class--I have a lot of great friends in there.  
That's me second from the right in the front row.
Don't I look just so cool in my cap and gown.  I was so proud to
be up on the stage--finally a graduate and ready for anything.
The official moment of graduation--accepting my diploma from
Miss Nabuko with Miss Sarah proudly looking on.
And with the official announcement that we had all graduated,
the doves were free to roam back to their home in Laguna.
And now that everything is over, it's time for some cheesy
graduation pics.  We'll call this one "the forced smile".
And we'll roll right into my personal fave, "overjoyed".  
Actually, I think this was when I realized their were cookies.
Here I am with my good buddy (and one of dad's all-time
favorites, Griffin Peters).  We've been school mates for 6 years.
Check out that diploma--that's really official
looking.  And mom likes it too.
OK, this one was dad's idea.  But I have a
feeling it's going to go down as a classic.
My best friend of these past 6 years has easily
been Sydney. I'll miss seeing her every day.

Harrison is one good friend who will be going to my new school.
I hope that we end up in the same class--he's such a stud.

                     Zobo's Quote of the Month
Over the past couple of months, Zoe has really been concentrating on her
reading.  One day, I was a bit surprised by how much she'd progressed over a
couple of week's time.  So I asked her how she had learned to improve her
reading all of the sudden.  Her response reminded me that she's probably still
spending more time working on her comedy routine than her school work.  And
I quote, "I don't know--all the sudden it just started working inside my
head...and in my butt."   Hopefully Harvard offers an advanced degree in
"Goofball".
