Getzoe.com  Month 75
Apr/May 05
I haven't been to a game yet without
having gone over to shake Mr. Autry's
hand and run around him for a few
minutes.  And if you can see that little
blur in the bottom left corner, Bigs isn't
much different.  For whatever reason,
it's our favorite thing about going to the
games.  Dad says baseball is all about
tradition, so I guess that's ours.  Well
anyway, Go Halos!!
Our seats this year are in what daddy calls the "nosebleed
section".  I get a lot of nosebleeds, so I hope I don't ruin my
clothes going to the games this summer.  "Go Erstad!!"
Our first game of the year was a Sunday afternoon game.  It
wasn't too hot but the sun was right in our eyes for the first
few innings, so we all wore hats so that we could see the game.
May is chock-full of parties. Here I am coloring a beautiful
butterfly at Ava Kahr's first birthday party at her house.
One weekend, mom got to go to Vegas with the
girls, while we had the old man all to ourselves.
That Saturday, he took us out to the park.
We got to go to one of my favorite parks--our
old park in Aliso Viejo.  Bigs and I did a lot of
running in the grass, so we were pretty thirsty.
For me, the highlight of any birthday party is when they roll
out the cake.  Once again, I was sure to snag a front row seat.
Papa & Berta came to our house this month.  Mom and dad
took a day off so that we could all go down to Laguna Beach.
I really love going to the beach and I'm starting to get pretty
bold when it comes to running toward the oncoming waves.
On land, I'm a sweet little six year old girl.  Get
me near the water and I turn into a mermaid.
After hitting the beach, we scurried over to a
nice restaurant on Ocean Ave--great fries!!
Here are Papa & Berta at the Crab Cooker in
Newport Beach.  Papa loves the BBQ Shrimp.
And to keep Bigsy in check, we also got to visit
the Irvine Choo Choo Park that weekend.
And here's Papa guiding me around the horse
track with my stinky little horse.  Giddy Up!!
Here I am on the Choo Choo train with Papa.  Bigs loves this
thing more than life itself (he's juuuuuuuuuust a bit cookoo).
Another birthday...only this one rocked.  That Jack O'Connor
sure knows how to throw a bash--chicken nuggets with a view.
Here I am with my new bike--and this one's built for speed.
We gave it a good test run at the OC Regional Park by home.
Man, that was one action-packed
month--I could really use a little
time in the "hot pool".  Thanks for
coming by--and be sure to come back
next month.  I'm inching closer and
closer to my kindergarten graduation
and there's all sorts of action on the
horizon.  It's going to be another
great summer.  Don't be a stranger.

                      Zobo's Quote of the Month
With the annual ballet recital fast approaching, not to mention a week of cheerleading
camp, Zoe is becoming quite the dancer.  And every dancer needs music, so we've
suddenly experienced an onslaught of "tween"-like musical taste from our little gal.
Here's what Zobo's listening to these days:
Top Dance CD: The Cheetah Girls
When She's Feeling Sassy: Hillary Duff
Winding Down From a Busy Day: Sheryl Crow
Hanging With The Girls: Kim Possible Dance-A-Thon
