Getzoe.com Month 71
December 04/January 05
The week of Christmas, we decided to ride the Christmas Train
at Irvine Park over to see Santa.  Bigs, Josh and I had a blast.
Zoe and mom in front of a giant inflatable
snowman.  I love wearing my hip black boots.
Dave & Erin Oskorus had a very nice Christmas party the
Sunday before Christmas.  That's me with mom and Dave.
Santa even showed up at the party and gave me a gift right
then and there.  Haley was there, so I had a great time.
An annual tradition--making a complete mess
of the house with Aunt Kristen's "peanuts".
Christmas Eve and time to get dressed for
church.  Better have a costume on just in case.
Santa surprised us and sent some elves to
deliver our big stuff early.  A new Belle dress!
Mom and dad let us go ahead and open all our
presents before we left for San Francisco.
Here we are at the airport getting ready to
head to San Francisco.  Crown?  Check.
A cool view of the Pan Pacific Hotel atrium lobby from the top
floor, courtesy of the artful eye of one Big Al Glassman.
On Christmas Eve, we decorated a tree for
our room and hung out with Cookie and Al.
They had lots of great presents for us, as did
Santa the next morning.  What a Christmas.
On Christmas day, we got to see the 3D Imax
version of "The Polar Express".  Very fun.
Here I am with dad, who looks just as goofy as
me.  Hey, is that your uvula, dad? How weird is
that?
After the show, we walked over to a park.
Here's a strange shot that Al took of Cookie.
Santa hooked me up with a nice makeup kit.
Here I am checking it out with my "twin".
Here I am hamming it up for the camera outside of a dim sum
restaurant in Chinatown.  That's mommy in the background.
Al and I looked like we knew what we were doing, but we
combined to try about three different items.  And one was rice.
Practicing my clever facial expressions in North Beach.
I've become very good at this disgusted Elvis sort of look.
The night they got engaged, mom & dad ate across the street.
Grandma Cookie and mom head back in the background.
We hit a cool little diner called Dottie's for breakfast.
Here's a rainy group shot outside the place.
After breakfast, we headed over to the San Francisco Bay
Aquarium.  They had a cool area for us to do arts & crafts.
Here I am with dad trying to decide whether we should make
squid hats or starfish ornaments.  Tough choice, pal.
Back home but still off for the week.  Sounds to me like a
perfect time to fire up a dog and catch some Disney On Ice.
This version was for Monsters Inc.  It was a little slow for the
old man, but I really liked it.  I always like the pretty skaters.
The weather was nice that week--time to
break out the feather shoes and hit the park.
Well guys, I bid you farewell from a great new Vietnamese
place we've discovered in Irvine.  Take it easy.  -Zoe
