Getzoe.com  Month 70
November/December 2004
It's Thanksgiving Day and that means it's time for
one thing--oh my, pumpkin pie!!  Here I am looking
excited for the delicious meal that mom has cooked.
And here's the whole family sitting down for some
serious grub--turkey, potatoes, stuffing, rice, yams,
salad and rolls.  And oh my, pumpkin pie!!
This month, we took a trip to some
god-awful place called Perris to see a
special Thomas Train show for Bigs.
I'm sure Big Boy loved it tremendously.
I thought it was decent. But let's just
say dad was a little underwhelmed.
It was time for our annual Christmas
tree search.  Bigs and I picked out a
doozy that was pre-covered with snow.
We wanted to make some of our own ornaments this
year, so we went to Color Me Mine and did some
painting. I made a little Christmas tree and a star.
No I haven't been holding this expression since
Turkey Day--I'm just a little excited to be finally
seeing the big man up close.  Let's do this, people.
Another year and another quality two
minutes with the big fella.  I'm starting
to ask a lot of questions about this guy.
JoJo and I have been spending lots of
time together (and even more time
being separated by our teacher).
Here I am with JoJo performing in our annual
holiday recital at school.  I stood right in the center
of the front row and sang my little holiday heart out.
OK, if you're reading this Santa, I
just want you to know that I'm
running a little low on princess
dresses--in particular, I'm
concerned by the alarming
absence of a Belle dress inside
my closet.  I've drawn you a
picture of it for reference.  If
possible, I'd like the one with the
shoulder straps, so that I can do
the off-the-shoulder look in my
room when nobody's watching.
Thanks, pal.

                  Zobo's Quote of the Month
Zoe's school does a very good job of mixing cultures and religions in their daily lessons.  And when it comes
to the holidays, they learn about Christmas, Kwanza and Hanukkah.  Now if they could just help her out
with some of the words to the songs.  Here's a sampling.  "Hanukkah, Hanukkah.  Life in a nora.  Let's a
have party, we'll all done sanora."  I'm sure that first one is "Lite the manora".  But I have no idea on the the
second one--looks like some sort of bad Spanish.  And if you think that's funny, you should hear her belt out
other holiday favorites, "Smiling Night" and "Rude Old The Red Nose Reindeer".
Here's my latest
class photo with
yours truly front and
center.  That's JoJo
right next to me.
