Getzoe.com  Month 69
October/November 2004
It's Halloween time and the McGoughs
kicked things off with a lovely little
shindig, complete with
pumpkin-carving.  That's dad's
monstrosity at the top center.
Seriously, is that not the worst job of
carving you've ever seen.  I'm so proud.
Yet another visit to our local carnie-fest,
the mysterious "Pumpkin Patch".  Here
I am blowing dad a pumpkin kiss.
"Yeah, I've got your fancy shmancy
pumpkin pile ordinance right here".  I'm
such a pumpkin rebel, I can't stand it.
Making his first appearance at carnie-land is my new
hero, Quinlan.  I love hanging out with him, because
he's so cute.  Here he is looking like a little pink piggy.
Here I am looking very cute in my ladybug outfit during
the parade on the left and for the class photo on the right.
That's me doing a little
quality school work before
the annual Halloween
parade.  Only in America
can a ladybug learn all
about North American
geography with a 4 foot
tall astronaut and a witch.
One weekend, I had some surprise visitors watch
me, while mom & dad went to San Francisco for
their wedding anniversary.  Time for breakfast.
Here's Tashie looking quite excited about the lovely
weather we had.  Luckily it cleared up a bit and we
were able to hit the beach at Laguna.
                    Zobo's Quote of the Month
Zoe still has a really tough time on Halloween.  Between the over-zealous skeletons
running around the neighborhood and the monster noises coming out of the
neighbor's home, it's always a battle just getting her out of the house.  This year, she
hid behind the dining room table every time the door bell rang. When asked what
she was doing, her response was simple.  "I'm just pretending to be a scared
ladybug".  Well, you're doing an excellent job, honey.
Tashie and I have such a great
time together.  We spent four
straight days running around
and laughing.  I'm going to stay
at her house someday soon.
Anyway, see ya next month.

I think we've all had just about enough of the Disney
shots--but I thought I'd include this one for both it's
funny faces and my shocking lack of princess attire.
Here are some update shots of my budding ballet
career.  Now that we're getting bigger, we do a lot of
stretch exercises before we actually start dancing.
This one really hurts.  I can feel it in my legs (which,
by the way, have been getting pretty sore after ballet
lately).  After we stretch I'm ready to get going.
During October, we get to do the wildly complicated
"Pumpkin Dance", where we leap over pumpkins the
size of large peanuts.  Don't worry, I made it over OK.
