Getzoe.com Month 45 October/November 2002

With mommy spending a lot of her time with
Ryan lately, I've pretty much been stuck with
Mr. 5:00 shadow. By the way, this picture
was taken at 9:00am. The big guy takes me
to school every day and sometimes we got to
"the cafe" (Starbucks) for a tea party before
he drops me off. When it's a good day, he
lets me have a cookie. And when it's a bad
day, he lets me have a cookie. Here I am
having Barbie do a few dance moves...or
maybe she was bowling that day.
With Ry getting lots of attention, Mom & Dad figured it
would be a nice idea to take a day off and drag me to
Disneyland--excellent choice folks. Hi Dumbo!!
The Dumbo ride is my favorite right now--and always the
first one I want to hit when we arrive. That always makes
Dad really happy since it's at the far end of the park.
On the way back from Dumbo, I generally like to swing by
the Princess store and check out the apparel. Inspired by
the radiant royal beauty, I usually fire up some lipstick.
Next in line is the ever-popular Tiki Room where I have a
little space to sing and dance while we wait. Dad loves
this attraction because it's perfect for taking a little nap.
Then we traverse back across the park yet again to hit
Small World. The fine folks at Disney just repainted the
exterior to match how it looked when it opened in 1952.
Even though I always demand that we hit Dumbo first, I
seem to enjoy this ride most--especially now that I really
have the song down. "It's a small whirl and so tall..."
Here I am getting ready for my first-ever Teacup ride.
Mom & Dad was a little worried about this one but I loved
it. And the faster we spun around, the harder I laughed.
When I get tired of walking around, the old man picks me
up and let's me ride up high. By the way, check out those
cheeks, don't you just wanna squeeze those suckers?
Here I am looking all proud of myself at The Pancake
House. That's because mom is about to take me to see
Dr. Turner for my very first dental appointment. Yipee!
"Hey mom, these eggs are reeeeeeally delicious and all
but what do you say we blow this joint and ask the Dreyers
Ice Cream guy to hook us up with a little Rocky Road?"
For whatever reason, I've been pretty anxious to visit the
dentist, so I had my mouth wide open even before he
showed up. Fortunately, I did fine on my first checkup.
This is pretty much the first and last time I
wore this awesome Pooh costume that dad
bought. He keeps forgetting it's 80 out.
The week before Halloween, I went to a
lovely party thrown by my neighbor, Max.
I'm dressed as a Broncos cheerleader.
Max did a great job of decorating his house with all sorts
of scary Halloween pumpkins and goblins. And I got a
bag of goodies to take home and hide from Dad.
"Four scary ghosts reporting to duty, sir." Here I am at
our local pumpkin patch/carnie-fest. They have all sorts
of fun rides and Halloween decorations. Loads of fun.
And you didn't think I knew how to drive. I just can't
believe the traffic in this town. No matter where I turn
or how fast I go I can't seem to shake these darn fools.
Here's what happens when Daddy puts the camera on a
lengthened exposure--cool huh? It looks like this ride is
out of control but we're really going about 1 mile per hour.
And this train? No, it's not really a French bullet train on
its way to Nice. Just another pumpkin patch ride. I got
to be the engineer on this one, so I rang the bell a lot.
The pumpkin patch even had a couple of different cages
with animals. For whatever reason, I really like little
pigs. Here I am giving them a little early evening snack.
After feeding those hungry little pigs, Daddy and I decided
to be pigs ourselves (which was obviously a real stretch for
him). That's me on the left and home-boy on the right.
Hey, here I am having one of my tea parties with Dad. I
must have been upset about something that morning
because that's a pretty big jack-o-lantern cookie. Tasty.
After I dusted the cookie, Dad and I sat
down for a mean game of the "Memory".
Like him, I'm already pretty competitive.
The folks picked me up early and took me and Ryan up to
our neighborhood park for a Halloween party. I was one
of the first in line to get a balloon hat. I love those things.
After the party, Dad fired up a jack-o-lantern to set the
mood. In only a couple more hours the sun would be
setting and it would be time to hit the streets hard.
Finally, the big day arrived--Halloween 2002. The day
kicked off with a little parade action at school. That's my
teacher Miss Heather escorting me in my cow outfit.
My best buddy Sydney just loves Scooby Doo, so she
decided to dress up as him this year. She was very excited
about her costume and smiled during the whole parade.
And when Syd's happy, I'm happy. Once again, check out
those highly pinchable cheeks. Hey, can you guess what
I'm wearing? Give up? That's right...cowmouflage.
Our neighborhood was packed with kids and parents--I've
never seen anything like it. We ran into Isabella along
the way and went trick-or-treating with her all night.
Here I am with Dad just moments before we had the now
infamous "skeleton incident". Let's just say I'm not
really big on skeletons that squirt blood from their eyes.
Wow, that was one very
action-packed month. And
next month will probably be
just as exciting. Ryan (my
"big boy") is starting to be a
little more active, so hopefully
we'll have a few pics together.
See you next month.

Zobo's Quote Of The Month Confronted with every three year old's greatest fear (having to talk on the phone to a relative), Zobo bowed out yet again. Finally, Mom and Dad wanted to know why the biggest blabbermouth in town never wants to say "Hi" over the phone. "It's because I'm too shiny."
