One of the fastest kids in rookie ball, Ryan "The Hammer" Jacobin.
Before the race, I did some visualization exercises (ok, not really).
Here I waiting in line behind the other Laguna Niguel speedsters.
At the end of the season I represented for our Roadrunner Race.
And I'm off--yet another lightning quick move on to 2nd base!
I got off to a shaky start, so I really had to turn it on along first base.
By the time I rounded second I was already in hyper-speed mode.
And just like that I was home. I didn't win but I had fun trying.
Here I am with my follow White Sox collecting our snazzy trophies.
My buddy Nick (hands folded) was obviously thrilled to be there.
After the post-season celebration, we all met at a pool to go wild.
That's me riding on a swim noodle, celebrating another great season.
And here's the whole family looked quite nice.
I got to skip class and see Zoe's play--I even got pulled on stage too.
We took the old man to a Padres game. We had awesome seats.
Leave it to Dad to make me wear a goofy hat.
