June 2008
I love June because it's time to hang out with the old man on
Father's Day.  Here we are chilling at my school's "Dad's Day".
Dad and I shared some snacks and played games.  Then we
relived old times by spelling "Daddy-O" in a game of hangman!
My little league team got to walk through The Big A before a
game one day--here I am in to the side of the Angels bench.
Here's the Angels bench, complete with bats, helmets & some
Gatorade.  I really wanted to go down and sit on the bench.
The stadium looked so big from the field.  It must be cool to be a
big league ballplayer--who knows, maybe I'll be a pro some day.
Before we went to our seats, we saw
Jered Weaver warming up in the pen.
Outside in the parking lot, we spotted my
buddy Daniel from school.  He's the coolest.
We went from the field up to the very last row in the stadium.
I had a good time hanging out with my friend Reese.
One of our many trips to The Pancake House with the Tooles
and Rothbergs.  I had my usual--lots of bacon and sausage.
Here I am giving Zoe some flowers after
her stirring stint as Betty Banana Peel.
Nothing like sitting in the audience waiting for my name to be
called while my classmate gets down to serious nose picking.
I'm feeling nervous as I line up to go accept my diploma. I
had a great time at this school, I'll miss my friends a lot.
It's official, I'm a graduate--ready to take on the world...or
Laguna Niguel Elementary.  OK, let's do this, people!!
With the ceremony done, it was time to get a few final races
in on the old playground.  I just love to run all the time.
My very last day at Montessori was spent at the Dinosaur
Park in Laguna Hills.  Here I am trying to avoid Dad's tickles.
Me enjoying lunch with my pals.  It was my last day in uniform--
I hope I can still attract the ladies in my street clothes!
Benjamin and I take a break from the action to play some DS.
One of my friends, Lita ties her shoe laces.  She was nice.
On the final day of the little league season, we all got to parade
around the field, get our trophies and then bid on prizes.
That's my first official trophy.  I really
had a blast playing t-ball this season.
This summer we started a new tradition of Jacko Days.  One
day, we went to Hollywood to see Wall-e at Disney's El Capitan.
And on another Jacko Day, we cruised over to The Spectrum
for all sorts of good action.  We even had some Italian Ice.
A visit to The Spectrum usually means that we get to hit D&B.
And a trip to D&B usually means a little skeeball action.
Zoe and I love to visit the pet store there.  Here I am using my
click-clack toy to hypnotize this this scruffy little puppy.
Here I am enjoying a little Angels action, while Cade pants in
the heat.  I wanted to be the CPK kid again but no luck.
Here's a shot of me before my first day at the Y at my new
school.  It's nice to have Zoe there to show me the ropes.
