HeyRyan.com Month 4
November 2002
Hey, I can sit up now.  Just kidding, dad
actually just has me propped up between these
two cushions.  It's an old photographer's
trick.  Anyway, that's me looking quite rugged
over at Uncle Phan's thanksgiving
roast-beef-a-thon.  Next to me is one of my
aunts who unbeknownst to her is about to be
treated with one of my daily spit-up festivals.
I have a certain special way of impressing
visitors (just ask my Aunt Anhthy).  Anyway,
here's my November 2002...
Here I am chillin' in my crib.  Behind my head is one of
mom's classic burp rags and to my left is a great toy that
offers me all I could ever want in musical options.
Aside from trying to look cool in my stylish shoes, I like
to kill time by watching my Looney Toon characters spin
over my head.  "Hey there, Daffy Duck."
Near the end of the month, I got to take my first trip to
Disneyland.  Since I pretty much slept through the whole
thing, the only good pictures of me are on the tram in.
As you can see, I am one big boy--already at 17 pounds
and 95 percentile on height.  God bless America.  Only
here can an Italian-Irish-Vietnamese kid grow to 6' 5".
Ahh yes, I remember this part quite well.  I believe the
tram was angling left at this point, as we got ready to
check in near Downtown Disney.  Trips almost done.
Man, I just love the feeling of the wind ripping through
my hair and having a nice patch of drool to keep my chin
and upper chest nice and cool.  What a life.
The picture on the left represents the peak of my
alertness--right before mom fired up a nice warm bottle of
milk.  Then it was off to sleep for the night.  Just above, you'll
find me still in a deep snooze as we get ready to leave
Disneyland for the night.  It was a great fun had by all...I think.
We close out this month's session
with a significant but cruddy picture
of me getting ready to attend my
first-ever movie--"The Santa Claus
2".  All I remember is having dad
give me a piece of popcorn and my
big sister exploding into tears at the
sight of Santa shrinking down to
nothing.  I think I'll stick to Elmo.
See you next month.
