Ahhhh, the good life. Hangin'
with my little "Bigsy", watching
a little "Dora" while mom gets
us a little "Milky" to tide us over
until we get a little "Din Din".
For some reason, this year's Disney On Ice visit came a
little late--usually it comes near Christmas. The good
news is that Bigsy got to go. And he loved it.
You know you're getting old when you see a repeat
Disney show. This one's my favorite--the jungle edition.
Here are the "crying babies" from "Lion King".
Let the Easter festivities begin. Here I am all ready to hit
the ultimate egg-hunting party in So-CA, the one by Uncle
Sean's old house. More eggs than us kids can handle!!
Bigs actually got to hunt for eggs this time, so we had a
blast. Jeez pal, how about a haircut next time. Or a
shower. Show a little respect for the Bunny, my man.
The rope drops
and we're off on
our mad dash for
candy. This
easter egg hunt
rocks--there are
so many eggs, I
fill my entire
basket every
year. Bigs had a
great time too!
Finally, it was the real Easter morning--time to find eggs
hidden by the real Easter Bunny. He always does a great
job of tricking us kids with some great hiding spots.
Here I am with Bigs, inspecting the prize booty. We got
some really cool stuff this year--candy, money, even some
toys. Bigs liked the egg with the new hot wheels car.
Later that day, it was on to the Chavis
house for their annual Easter pageant. And
true to form, a furry replica showed up.
I may be another year older, but I still
don't like gigantic furry replicas. I decided
to make my way behind the pool instead.
Here I am paying a quick visit to one of
my favorite parks--the Flo Jo park. It was
packed that day! "Down boy!!"
Here's a lovely shot of me primping one
night. I like taking showers now--I lay at
the bottom and sing my head off.
I still love getting all dressed up for school
when the old man has time to help me
out. Mom did a special job on my hair that
day.
I also still love getting all dressed up and
then acting like a ham sandwich. Well, I
guess some things will never change.
Thanks for stopping by
everyone. Sorry I've been a
little late in posting these fine
pics--dad has been dragging me
down lately with something he
calls "workload". I don't really
know what that means, but I'm
not amused. We had a talk--he's
gonna try to pull things
together. Have a great summer!
Zobo's Quote of the Month Zoe's extreme fear of large furry characters continues to entertain and amaze (although we try not to laugh when she's fleeing in terror). This year, I really thought she'd be OK with the annual Easter Bunny appearance at the Chavis house. I even went as far as explaining to her that the bunny isn't real--just Trish inside a costume. It didn't matter. Finally, she explained the core issue--"It's the eyes, daddy. They're always staring at me." Freaky stuff.
