GetZoe.com Month 50!
March/April 2003
Wow, can you believe the world has already experienced 50 months of Zobo-Mania?
Hey, that's 1,519 days...36,456 hours...2,187,360 minutes..and by my calculations,
3,718,512 laughs.  Thanks for stopping by on this momentous occasion.  Enjoy the pics.
With spring in full gear, the folks decided to head to
Scottsdale for a little fun in the sun. Here I am trying to
get Erstad's autograph at Angels spring training.
The old man got us pretty good seats, so I had to have a
new glove in case a ball came my way.  It's a good thing it
didn't--I kept wearing my glove on the wrong hand.
Our trip to Phoenix got a little tainted when G.W. sent a
couple of rockets in some bad guy's bunker.  Hey, isn't
that the same guy who was on our TV on millennium eve?
The Phoenix Zoo is one of the coolest we've seen--lots of
cool animals and you can get pretty close to the action.
Here I am with my favorite zoo animals--the zebras.
We decided to cut our trip to Scottsdale a bit short in
order to come back for Syd's birthday party.  She had a
bunch of puppies brought in for all of us kids to pet.
I'm not much for puppies (or anything with four legs
that's not in a cage for that matter), so I spent my time
in the sandbox.  Here I am with my school pal, Ethan.
On the left, that's Syd with her favorite puppy.  The puppy didn't yet have a name, so Syd
named her "Zoe".  On the right, that's me and my friend Grayce waiting for hot dogs.
With the weather finally starting heat up, Dad and I
decided to have a campout on the "Back Forty" (yards
that is).  We put up a tent and slept on this air mattress.
We named it "Camp Zobo" and we even had roasted hot
dogs and smores on our barbecue grill (soooooo suburban).
We bailed at about 2am when the temp got below 50.
On the weekend before Easter, Ryan and I met our
friends, Cade and Hayley to hunt for Easter eggs in a
park in Irvine.  Here I am with Cade comparing our loot.
Once the egg hunting finished off, Hayley and I busted
into some hard core playground action.  Hayley cleaned
house--filling a driving range-like bucket with 80+ eggs.
Hey, I started swimming lessons this month.  Here I am
with my very cool teacher, Kylie.  She's really showing me
the ropes--I can already hold my breath under the water.
Here I am diving down in search of a colorful assortment
of plastic toys and rings.  I'm really good at going under
the water--but I'm still working on opening my eyes.
Not the longest page of
pictures but lot's of good
action.  Thanks for
stopping by.  Happy
Easter everyone!!

             Zobo's Quote of the Month
Zoe's brother is finally learning to walk with the aid of his trusty walker.  And whenever he
gets rolling, Zoe is quick to cheer him on.  One day, she got a bit overly fired up with her
special brand of distorted encouragement.  In her best cheerleader tone, she yelled out "Go
Ryan Go Ryan Go Ryan Go! And what a sweet booty!!"  I'm sure he'll appreciate the
sentiment when he's a bit older.
