HeyRyan.com Month 34
May 2005
"Hi, my name is Thomas and my little green
friend next to me is Percy.  We're Ryan's best
friends and he takes us everywhere.  We really
love the little guy and all, but we don't like it
when he takes us to the beach--too much sand.
Ryan drags us through the stuff for hours and
then washes us off in saltwater, which is bad for
our gears.  And to make matters worse, we have
to hold these silly grins on our faces.  If anybody
is reading this, can you please talk to Ryan's
parents about this. We're dying out here!!"
"Don't listen to Thomas--those little trains love the sand as
much as I do.  Look--Percy is on the top of the sand and
Thomas is buried.  Now that's good quality fun for everyone."
"Percy, you better not try to complain about
the beach on my website or I'll leave you in a
sandy grave like your good friend, Thomas".
Speaking of sand, here I am at the park by our old house in
Aliso Viejo.  Luckily for Percy &Thomas, there was lots of sand
for all of us to play in (check out the train tracks around me).
This park has a big grassy hill that's great for climbing up and
running down.  That's me chasing after Zoe.  We really love
going to parks and being silly...as long as there are no dog!!
One weekend, mom and the girls jetted off to Vegas for the
weekend.  That left all of us kids and the dads to their own
devices, which of course, means there'd be a party at Milo's.
Zoe got a new bicycle, so we've been doing a lot
of riding lately.  I get pretty worked up when I
can't go fast enough to catch her on my trike.
This month is big for birthdays and this one was pretty cool.
Here's the aptly-named, totally Korean looking Jack O'Connor
struggling to determine his destiny on his first birthday.
Then it was time for Hayley McGough to turn six.  Dad was a
little bummed that she didn't have her usual beer and pizza
party, but all of us kids had a fun time hitting the bouncies.
Another first birthday took place when Gabe Taylor turned
the trick.  Here he is with his dad, Uncle B-Luv, waiting for
the birthday cupcakes to arrive.  He ate a bunch of them.
And so did I!!  Although I have to admit that I
didn't exactly get past the icing those bad boys.
I'm developing quite the sweet tooth lately.
Well, that's it for this month,
as I bid you farewell in Zoe's
chicken costume.  Have a
great start to your summer and
I'll see you again next month.
-Bigs
Big Boy's Quote of the Month
Bigsy's eating habits have become legendary for their complete lack of variety.  If
you factor in both his allergies and his overall quirkiness, the dude seems to get by
on just a handful of foods (excluding sweets, of which he'll devour anything).
Here's a quick snapshot of the ideal Bigsy meal.
Breakfast: Milky in a sippy with a plain Eggo Waffle (breakfast of champions)
Morning Snack: Goldfish (cracker of the gods)
Lunch: Those god awful Gerber Meat Sticks (taste like stale Vienna Sausages)
Lunch Snack: Goldfish (why mess with tradition?)
Dinner: Dino-Nuggets or Hot Dogs (and don't forget the ketchup, mom)
Desert: Any flavor of sorbet on a cone (and on his shirt, the floor, the couch...)
