Summer in Colorado
Our trip to Denver got started quickly with a surprise birthday bash for Bigs.
Zoe watches intently, hoping the little guy will hurry up and get to the cake.
Then it was time to burn it off on a rock climbing rig.
Anhdai & Bigs were not  happy to have us taking pics of them in the maze.
In typical Colorado fashion, we got absolutely drenched in a hailstorm.
Making a rare appearance for his uncle, Jeremy came down from Wyoming.
We met Papa and Berta at the Country Road Cafe.
Once we made it up to Breckenridge, it was time to cool off in the pool.
Dad hired this guy to teach me what to do.  Man that guy could catch fish!!
Even in the middle of summer, you still need a ski cap up in the mountains.
Bigs landed his first-ever wild Colorado trout that day.  Awesomeness.
On our last day, we went over to the mountain to play.
Here they are cruising at breakneck speed and mugging for the cameras.
Time for a break & some nutritional reinforcement (hot dog not pictured).
Did I say "cake"?  Oh, I meant towering mound of Krispy Kreme goodness.
After opening gifts, we walked over toward Bonnie Brae and had pizza.
Kailey, sporting the official Facebook pose of the American teenage girl.
We've never heard of this place before but it was a winner--great food.
Nothing says high country hijinx like a Mexican stache.
The day dad's been waiting for--our first time fly fishing.
Flip doing what she does best--digging for gold.  As usual, she found it.
Zoe and Anhdai on the ski lift, making there way up for some sledding.
Bigs and Craig getting ready for another record-breaking speed run.
I'm pretty sure that Bigs had never seen anything like it.
Gee, that was a pretty quick trip.  I hope we come back to visit really soon!
